The weather and waves are back to classic Popoyo! Waves are 2-3 ft with clean lines rolling in with smooth water and light off-shore breeze. Crowds are light and if your not here you are missing out! Stop staring at your computer, book a plane ticket and experience Popoyo Nicaragua!
The rains are tapering off and the water is cleaning up. The sunsets are always amazing here in Nicaragua. Waves are 2-3 ft with some fun little runners left and right. We are nearing the end of the rainy and surf season, so now is the time to get here if you have been waiting.
The heavy rains brings the milkshake to the yard, but never stops the serious surfer. Waves are a dirty mixed up 2-3 ft with onshore winds. Your best to relax and avoid the ear infections when it's this brown. Either way your in Nicaragua and the food is good!
Here we are in mid October and the surf has been fun. The sand bars on all the beach breaks are working. Waves are 3-5 ft with some hollow barrels to pull into. Don't be a barrel dodger! We have been having alot of rain and that means sandbars and green trees.
October surfing in Nicaragua can be hit or miss around the rain and today was a Hit.. Swell is 3-4 ft with some fun grinders rolling through. Beach and reef breaks up and down the coast are working. Crowds are light so get here and experience Popoyo Surfing.
