Travel off the beaten path and you will score. Waves are 4-6 ft. and absolutely firing with a small crew enjoying the riches of Nicaragua. Wind is light off-shore and water is warm like a bath. The turtle reserve at Chacocente is treat when you score it like this and is closed from July-December.

Swell is on the rise again here in Nicaragua. Waves this afternoon were 3-4 ft. with some good shape and few little jellies stinging. The winds were a bit side shore but did not effect the waves too much. Water is warm and everyone was having a great time.
The best place to surf when the winds are on-shore. Waves are 2-3 ft. with soft shoulders and fun long lines. Winds are on-shore making a slight bump and crumbly tops of the waves. Even with the winds it's still warm and cold Toñas beers are flowing when you get back to the boat.
Don't be jealous, just book your ticket! Waves are a fun 2-4 ft. with some hollow sections. Winds were off-shore this morning and turned on-shore in the afternoon. El Astillero was protected from the on-shore conditions.
Surf season is in full effect and we are stoked. Waves are 3-5 ft. with open faces and everyone making full rail turns JJF would be proud of. Winds are light and ocean surface is smooth and glassy in the morning.
We are back at Mag Rock where there's protection from the wind. Waves are 3-4 ft with fun mushy waves and gusty winds. So hang on to your hats and little children it's windy out there.
Hanging out in the bay at Magnificent Rock today. Longboarding, fishes and 2-4 ft. waves rolling in slowly like Waikiki Hawaii. This is Nicaragua and the water is warmer with off-shore winds. This are so many places to surf here and this just goes to show the variety at your disposal. If you want to learn to surf this is the best spot around to get comfortable.
