Happy 2020... We have a great start to the New Year. The waves are 1-3 ft this evening and the water is getting cool. As usual we had another incredible Nica sunset and the best place to view it is from the water. Come to Popoyo and enjoy the sunsets, surf, cold Tonas and great people. We will be taking a break and will return with our photo surf report in a few months.

We are back swimming in the water getting the surfers eye view. Waves are 2-3 ft with some glassy lines and great sections to rip. The sun is shining and the winds are light. We are finishing the year of right with some fun surf. Keep the stoke and share a smile! Fun small day in the water at Popoyo. Waves are 1-3 ft with some soft rollers running through to the beach. The sun is shining and everyone is smiling with the surf stoke. Water is starting to cool down, but still comfortable. Get out there and enjoy! Back to the bay and back getting water shots! We had another fun day surf small cruisers. Waves are 1-2 ft with slow easy waves to hang 5 on your longboard. When you can ride any type of surfboard, then you are a surfer. So get out there and try different kinds of boards in different types of waves. Everyday is a great day to learn to surf. Today was incredible conditions for learning. Waves are 1-2 ft with slow rollers and amazing blue skies. Everyone is stoked in the water and all you need to do is remember the fun you had starting as you get better. Go get out there... This evening was all time Nica Magic! Great waves and beautiful evening. Waves are 3 ft with some fun sets rolling through. the winds are light, water is still warm and the clouds made for an amazing sunset. This is what surfing Popoyo is all about! YEW..... What a great day to be in the water. We had to get out there and swim to get you the close up action. Waves are 3-4 ft with light winds and the rights were going off. It took some time in between sets, but when they rolled in, it was nothing but hooting... YEW! |
