Rick is not your average surf photographer, he shoots everyday and has a passion for the creative. Rick says, "I love shooting fisheye the most b/c I'm in the action and can be getting barreled along with the rider while shooting". Rick has been in Nicaragua for 8 years now. Originally from Florida he was spending 6 months/yr Nica and 6 months year Colorado snowboarding and deciding to give it up and just stain the surf realm. Rick Says, "Can't keep a beach boy away from the beach. So now I'm here 8/9 months a year and travel the other 3". The last 2 years he was in California and this past year he was in Hawaii shooting Pipeline on the North shore of Oahu.
As a published photographer he has been featured in ESM, Surfline, Surfing Life Australia , WSSM, Void Magazine, MoreSurf Magazine, SurfNica Magazine, Solspot, MagicSeaWeed and SurfingLatino. Adding to Rick's long list of credentials he also represents Popoyo as Surfline's Local Pro.
