July is firing and the reefs are working their magic. Waves are pumping at Outer Reef Popoyo 8-12 ft with some larger sets. The boys were charging and putting on a clinic for the spectators at the Finca. There is always a wave to surf here in Nicaragua for every skill level. Yew....
Waves everywhere you go. The swell is holding and all breaks are firing. Outer Reef, Popoyo, Mag Rock are on top of our list. Waves are 6-8 ft with larger at the Outer Reef. Winds are perfect off-shore with light on-shore at sunset. If your not here, just watch the live cam and kick yourself you didn't book your ticket!
Get out you guns and call home, because it's firing! Waves are 10-15 ft faces at Outer Reef and only the skilled should have paddled out today. Winds are perfect off-shore and water is smooth. If your skill level keeps you on the beach, it'a a great time to watch some incredible waves.
The swell is back and Outer Reef is showing her beauty. Waves are 6-10 ft. with great shacks to pull into. The ocean surface is glassy and water is warm. Grab your step-up board and get in the water before the swell is over!
When she wakes up (Outer Reef).. Most of us just stand there and watch, a select few will take on the challenge. Waves are absolute firing and Outer Reef has shown up one of the best days all year with waves at 10-15 ft. Winds are light off-shore and all eyes are on the surf today.
The swell is here! Outer Reef Popoyo is alive and puking its guts out. The swell has been holding all day and we expect it to be pumping again tomorrow, so get your big wave board and rest for some big waves with some big beatings.
The waves were firing at 5-8 ft. with bigger sets at Popoyo and outer reef was perfect to mind surf. We had classic Nicaragua conditions, the water was warm and the winds were a slight offshore. If you were here you are stoked, if your somewhere else you should have booked that plane ticket.
