Just want to thank you for all your help in arranging our stay in Popoyo last month. The beach house we rented exceeded our expectations. The house was enormous with fantastic views from every room. Very accessible to local restaurants and the staff which included the maid, guard and gardner were very accommodating. I know we couldn't of made these arrangements without you and wish to recommend your services as well as a dream house to stay in to anyone wishing to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Popoyo. My wife and brother and I stayed here for a week on a surf trip and found the place to far exceed our expectation. Marcos (owner) was a great host and went out of his way to ensure we had a great time, especially when the surf went flat and the rain started. The food was great and made to order.  The atmosphere was very relaxed and if you want to get out the way and stay amongst the locals this is the place to be. It's a little remote to get to but Marcos can arrange transportation for you. Surfer's - the break out front is a bit of a close out but a 15 min walk in either direction gets you to Popoyo or a solid beach break. Next time we pass through Nicaragua we will definitely be staying here. Cheers, Jason

I definitely recommend staying at the studio apartment in Popoyo Nicaragua. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, Anthony and his wife were pleasant and very helpful and most of all the place was really affordable. The view from the place overlooks the Popoyo Surf Break therefore you are always aware of what the surf is doing. The studio apartment is located on a hill which allows it to get better breezes than other houses lower in elevation. I was quite comfortable sleeping with the windows open at night and using a sheet as a blanket. I plan on going back again next year.

I can't say enough about doing business with Anthony at Popoyo.com. Frequently while traveling in 3rd world countries and booking in advance, the accommodations are not what we were told they would be and it can be very disappointing. But our accommodations at Popoyo far exceeded our expectations and then some. Rudy picked us up at the Airport in Managua and drove us to Popoyo, definitely worth the cost. Our plane was 2 hours late but he was there waiting for us, a sight for sore eyes! He speaks great English and was kind enough to make a stop at a grocery store for us! Anthony met us when we arrived and took us to our house and waited to make sure there was nothing else we needed. He was available if we needed him for anything else, which we didn't! They are very professional and do a great job. You'll be very pleased! And you'll love  Popoyo. One of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations I've had!
